Mario Garcia
Mario Garcia graduated from Le Grand High School in June, 2005. Mario enrolled in YOP his senior year (2004-05). During the summer 05 WEX he was placed at Wal-Mart for a period of 3 weeks. While enrolled there, he was putting in carts and did not really enjoy his job. The last couple of weeks of WEX his mentor placed him at Tireworld where he leaned how to repair tires, change oil, car alignments, etc. When the six week program ended, the business owner hired him as a part-time employee and now he has been working there ever since.
Mario's persistence on working and telling his mentor that pushing carts was not what he wanted to do has paid off. He is a true success of the YOP Program and deserves to be recognized.
